Another edition of CIF with Outdoor Cinema! Following the success of previous editions, this year we will have a unique and unmissable screening of the 80s classic of classics: Back to the Future - in English, Back to the Future -, a film that combines comedy, adventure, and science fiction. The film's screenplay is considered by critics to be one of the most mathematically perfect in cinema history. This program is held in partnership with the Cinemateca Brasileira.
Synopsis:
Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is a typical middle-class American teenager from the 80s. His father, George, feels defeated and works like a slave for his boss. His mother (Lea Thompson) is an alcoholic frustrated with her marriage, and his siblings are two losers. When the young man is called by his friend, the scientist Emmett "Doc" Brown (Christopher Lloyd), to witness his latest creation, the Time Machine, McFly accidentally triggers it and ends up in the 50s. There, he meets his mother before she even married his father, and she falls in love with him. This infatuation puts his own existence at risk, as it would alter the entire future, forcing him to play matchmaker between his parents.
