The CIF returns to the Paraisópolis community with a program open to the general public, bringing together children and adults. This edition's activities focus on local identity and are led by local talent. They are 100% free and will be held at the Cultura Inglesa Paraisópolis branch.

Workshop and performances: Passinho

With NGKS, Rap, and Funk

‍The group NGKS (Negroskis) was formed during the 2016 carnival by school friends who practiced the dance popularly known as "passinho do Maloka." With original moves set to Funk music and inspired by Black culture and fashion, the group participates in various dance events, including carnivals, and has recorded with major names in Brazilian funk and rap.

With over 10 years of experience in the funk scene, NGKS brings a lighthearted dynamic to their dance workshop. They aim to democratize dance (specifically the passinho dos maloka), promote culture, and create a moment of connection for anyone interested in learning the basics of the style. During the workshop, the 4 members take turns demonstrating each step so that everyone, from beginners to those with dance experience, can learn to perform the passinho dos maloka.

The group's performance features everything from their most famous choreographies to their latest work, blending freestyle—where each member dances freely—with rehearsed routines that bring the whole group together.
