In its 29th edition, the Cultura Inglesa Festival supports the largest national mobilization in defense of pride, visibility, and the rights of people with disabilities: the Brazil PwD Pride Parade.
The movement brings together culture, art, activism, accessibility, and PwD leadership in a celebration of human diversity. More than just an event, the Parade is a space for occupation and visibility that places people with disabilities at the center of the narrative and expands the debate on representation, rights, and inclusion.
In 2026, after being held in São Paulo, the Brazil PwD Pride Parade arrives in Brasília, with programming at the National Museum of the Republic from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The schedule brings together artists and collectives from the Federal District across various artistic disciplines, with performances that highlight the leadership of people with disabilities:
This partnership reinforces the Cultura Inglesa Festival's commitment to the leadership of artists with disabilities and to building a cultural program that is increasingly accessible, diverse, and representative. At the Festival, accessibility is understood as a structural and cross-cutting aspect, present in the various initiatives and experiences offered to the public.
